This website provides important information regarding the settlement of a class action lawsuit brought on behalf of participants and beneficiaries of the SWBG, LLC 401(K) Plan (formerly known as the SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment 401(K) Plan). The lawsuit alleges that Defendants violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”) by causing the Plan to incur excessive administrative and recordkeeping fees and by retaining underperforming investment options. Defendants deny any wrongdoing or liability. 

The parties have reached a settlement which provides monetary relief to eligible Class Members. The total settlement amount is $1,250,000.  The Court has preliminarily approved the settlement, and a Final Approval Hearing has been scheduled.
